“Lisa’s knowledge about childhood apraxia of speech and the programming she uses to help children improve in this area, has been a blessing to so many students! The growth we have seen in the students who have been a part of her services is amazing.”

“Lisa’s vast knowledge and experience as a Speech and Language Pathologist coupled with her passion for understanding the science behind reading and the brain, have allowed her to be an integral leader for our reading and literacy intervention program at our school. Lisa’s intervention lessons are well organized and are developed using standardized testing that gives detailed information about where gaps might be in a child’s learning. We have seen outstanding results from Lisa’s programming!
I would highly recommend Lisa as both a speech and language specialist and reading/literacy expert!”

Lisa is a passionate, caring and educated SLP. She is always prepared to work with students and willing to share strategies with other staff to help support each child. Lisa is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of speech and language development and in the area of Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She creates amazing plans for each child that is a reflection of their specific needs and current scientific research.
My favorite part about working with Lisa is how contagious her love of learning is.
She is always excited to share new ideas or strategies to try in our classrooms. She also loves to share new information and research articles that would help support students. I am always so thrilled to have a conversation with Lisa because it leaves me fueled with new ideas and passion to bring back to my classroom.

"Lisa has an amazing way of making students feel confident in their abilitIes to read. She values research based practices, and has a wealth of knowledge regarding reading and writing disabilities. I was fortunate to work along side Lisa and learn the benefits of systematic, explicit phonics instruction to help improve the reading skills of my students."

We started our journey with Lisa 2 years ago. It was such an incredible and instrumental experience.
Lisa is so talented and knowledgeable it was a pleasure to be a part of such a vital piece of my daughter's speech therapy.
Her kindness, patience and adaptability kept my daughter's attention and willingness to learn and grow. I feel Lisa is an extraordinary person on so many levels, but her desire to support and adapt to ensure the best possible outcome for the kiddos is at the forefront. I am so grateful for the time that we spent working with Lisa, she truly is a special person doing the absolute best at a career that is a perfect fit for her.

“Lisa's knowledge and expertise in speech and reading development was an invaluable asset to staff, students and parents.
She goes above and beyond to support students in their speech and language development, including making connections with specialists for particularly complex cases, and working with staff and parents to provide support both in-class and at-home. She readily volunteered her time to provide teachers with strategies and professional development to support student reading and reading intervention. Lisa also frequently called parents to check in and to provide support and education to them in the areas of speech and reading development. She encouraged staff to learn more about reading intervention and helped to set up a very successful reading program at our school. Lisa is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to supporting children's speech and language development. She is kind, approachable, encouraging, and children love to work with her. I would highly recommend Lisa to anyone who has a child struggling with speech, language, and reading acquisition.”

Our son was 2.5 years old when he was diagnosed with a severe speech delay. We began working with Lisa immediately. We didn’t know what to expect or how Lisa would even be able to work with our almost nonverbal child.
We were immediately impressed with how quickly she grew a relationship with both our son and our family. Lisa always valued our input - asking what we felt was important to work on . . . Was there anything we felt particularly concerned about . . . how was our son feeling - what was most frustrating for him? We really felt part of her team.
Lisa thoughtfully chose creative therapy games that both engaged our son and targeted his speech needs. She learned what style of play he enjoyed and while therapy sessions were work, they were also fun!
Shortly into therapy, Lisa shared with us that she thought our son had Childhood Apraxia of Speech. We were immediately concerned but also felt at ease as we were supported by Lisa. Lisa is an expert in Childhood of Apraxia and introduced us to the Let’s Start Talking program. Lisa also prepared us that our son may experience reading delays and provided us with resources for early literacy intervention.
Lisa’s support and guidance led us to make decisions for our son that he still reaps the benefits of today. While Lisa provided direct speech therapy to our son, she also acted as a consultant to our family - helping navigate school entry, speech therapy programs, and literacy development. Our son is now 8.5 years and thriving in school and completely intelligible. We know this is directly related to the expert early interventions he received through Lisa.

Speech therapy helped me because I can talk to people now and I feel good about that. I couldn’t really talk when I was little. Thanks a lot for helping me speak.

"Lisa's ability to integrate her speech and language support through play in my pre-k classroom was phenomenal! She literally sat on the floor, playing with cars and blocks with my students, delivering her services. Her enthusiasm and willingness to share her knowledge of speech, language and literacy components allowed me to enhance both the content and delivery of my program. My team and students were blessed to have her as our SLP."
